Ah mate that was facking brilliant, just the kind of fuel Newgrounds thrives on, good on ya mate.

Has potential.

It's nice to see a movie where someone tried to make something of a serious effort for the Deus Ex game. The movie's fluid black&white animation is pulled off well, and I think is befitting for the persistent darkness of the actual game. However, the quality of the gore is unfortunately typical of your everyday violent flash, it could've looked somewhat better. I know the voices come from the game, or at least some of them do I think, but when the guy exclaims "I'm hit!" after already being wounded and is shot at point blank range, it does seem a bit cheesy and unrealistic. The look of this flash is impressive, and if it is made into an extended movie that has a higher grade of quality it could be a good success.

3rd time watching

Excellent movie. I haven't seen any of your newer Sunday School movies in a while, and this one rekindled my interest. The storyline and humour were the dominant features which make this movie, and most of the series on that note, worthwhile. This has got to be my favourite Sunday School episode so far, keep them coming Eric.

- from a fan.

Oh yeah, to all those who think the author is a racist because of a character's actions, he states at the beginning that his own views are not the same to those in this movie, i.e. it's a joke.

"Great shot! Return to base immediately"

This was the first realtime strategy game I got into when I was a kid in the mid 90s, and was one of the first games that got me interested in PC games. Nice custom sprites, as well as your own original animations in certain bits. The funniest part for me would have to be where the harvester stupidly travels through the enemy base, I had that problem a lot so I usually got frustrated and stopped playing the game whenever that happend. I wish the enemy would've just let the my harvester go through peacefully, lol.

Killerratte responds:

Yeah ... that harvester thing is actually acceptable in the old game, but in the gayass EA failure Generals 2 - Crystal Wars, the harvester drives at the speed of light to the enemy base and the radar sucks so badly that you can't even recognize it.

Ugh, Calculus, the derivative of all evils.

Okay okay I realise that what I just said above is stupid since Calculus is an important tool for technology and most of the items in our everyday lives, yadda yadda yadda. Also, you do have to use Calculus in Chemistry, I did a stage 1 Chem course once where calculus is used in something like kinetics and rates of reaction, didn't like it much though. Also, I have to do more calculus for my CompSci degree, so hooray for me I guess, NOT. Infact I think anyone can learn it if they put their mind to it, but if you're like me, and you think math is overall quite boring and gives you headache from time to time, it can be tough.

Hooray for the fat controller!

Believe it or not, but when I first got my Xbox, I used that fat controller for a very long time before switching to the smaller one, which isn't actually that much smaller when you look at it. I think the bulky grip on the fat one just makes it look big. Anyway, the thing itself really is under-appreciated, I used to be very skilled at games like Halo with the fat Xbox controller, but sadly its right analog stick became defective after a while.

Anyway, good movie. I suppose a lot of Nintendo fanboys didn't like it though, and they have the biggest (and most annoying) fanboy community as well. But that doesn't matter too much, good job. Besides, it's not like you dissed any Nintendo franchise on an excessive level, I mean come on it was just the controller.

ryguypie responds:

Sadly, fanboys don't see things like the rest of the world do. They're all too stubborn too see the whole picture. Anyway, thanks for the review.

1994 - The year of the greatest Sonic game ever.

That's got to be one of the best tributes an eminent game like this derserves. I sure can say it invoked a fair amount of memorability of that day when I first played Sonic&Knuckles as a kid. Also, the kids of today really need to respect this game, as it was one of the games that made the biggest headlines in its time.

jimmy5327 responds:

I agree, Sega should really bring out another sonic side scroller so kids can appretiate it better.

Amusing.

The fact that you managed to creatively assemble Counter-Strike sounds together to make a coherent piece of music is most amazing. The gun sounds and the grenades/flashbangs really do create a sense of awe in that respect. However, the looping animation of limited sequences is one aspect of the movie which seems to make it linger onwards in a lack variety, but other than that it's brilliant stuff.

StealthBeast responds:

u guys still dont get that I didn't make the sound track lol...

but thanks for the review!

Such as it is, I don't like dead fish, unless penguin salad is included.
