[Sonic Xtreme]

Holy shit!! You used a Halo 2 song!!

Honestly, this movie has a brilliant display of gradients and is probably the most flamboyant looking movie I've ever seen. The animation also supports the art by creating a very fluent three dimensional effect, which is one of the most impressive aspects of this movie.

Furthermore, there are no cons for this movie in my opinion; the voice acting isn't perfect but it's satisfactory. No storyline has been established, since the movie is short and it looks as if you were trying to build up the storyline in this first episode. That's a good technique to use in most movies; however, it dosen't always work out efficiently.

Aside from that, it's a great movie and is most worthy of a 5. It looks as if you've put an absolute tremendous amount of effort into this project, and I can't wait until you release the next part.

Roflmao!! Nice one Stt!! It was a very enjoyable music video, and had plenty of "appropriate" humour in the right place too ;)

I wouldn't say it's your best work; infact it seems like more of a filler for Sonic the Swordsman Ep.5 which is perfectly fine since I also don't have much free time on my hands. Nevertheless, a very good filler it was indeed and it has made me feel even more excited about your future prodigy. The characters invoked many nostalgic feelings, some of them I was familiar with as a reference to my past, and some I weren't; however, it was still as funny as hell to see them put to action. I laughed my arse off at the sequence where Shadow eats the chicken wings, and Robotnik screaming like as if a big iron rod had been shoved up his.......... nevermind. I'm sure you don't want to concieve that picture (sorry if I have also just encouraged suicidal intentions to many others out there too).

The ending was also very funny too, damn Shadow is one lucky wanker. Good job!!! Oh and by the way, what is the song playing in the credits menu?? I've heard it from somewhere I know I have; I just can't recall from retrospect where the song is from though.

I can't even begin to conceive how long that took you to make, and to all you anti-sprite faggots out there, SPRITE MOVIES DO TAKE A FUCKING LONG TIME TO MAKE!!!! I should know, I'm working on one right now.

Anyway, onto the proper review.

I've heard about this Sonic Quest for Power series for some time now; although I never bothered seeing both movies until yesterday, and boy was I sleeping under a rock for a long time!! I guess Stt (Author of Sonic the Swordsman) was right about his series lacking animation techniques compared to yours. Another thing I like about your movies is that you like to combine skillfully created Flashy effects with sprites, I tried to do that with my last movie but I didn't do too well.

I can honestly say you are the master when it comes to sprite battles, the battle scenes blew my socks off!!! They were at a quick pace; they had variation, innovation, creativity, impeccable graphics and so forth. Although the movie itself is too DBZ orientated for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I used to like DBZ a lot (I 've seen all the episodes), I still think it's decent, but I don't think it looks right with Sonic though. Oh well, I guess we all have to add our own favourite content to movies as an act of improvisement sometime or another.

As for the storyline and the script, I'm afraid I'm going to have to say Stt's StS is the winner there. The story itself seems kinda wacky in a sense too, due to the fact that Super Sonic uses weapons in a Matrix style. I can see you've tried to add some intended humour too, but I'm afraid it just dosen't work. Stick to the serious fights and carnage instead of trying to crack jokes which don't fit in with the rest of the script.

Also, try to have some variation in the story, the super transformation thing is getting kinda boring and irritating now. Sure, it's still cool for Sonic to transform into a yellow homoicide and maybe Shadow too, but it dosen't suit Knuckles. As for the length of the movie, I'm okay with that since it had a lot of action as well as having enough dialogue to establish the storyline.

However, there is one aspect of the graphics that I didn't approve, the use of the mouth. Robotnik's mouth is just a basic red/white circle. Some of the other characters' don't look good with it either, you should think about improving that facet.

Overall: despite a strange, yet dissapointing storyline and plot, this movie deserves a 5 because you put a tremendous amount of effort and skill into it.

Can't wait to see the third one :D

[What a crazy bitch! 2/2]

A big shame

I wish I could say this movie is impeccable by all odds, but I can't. Don't get me wrong, the animation is perfect, the style is great and the voice acting couldn't be better, but the storyline is so FUCKING BORING!!!

I thought this movie would be good when it first started, I saw the previous movie and that was boring too. It also lacked A LOT of humour just like this movie. The repetitive crudness of the protagonist cussing "Will this cunt help me" , and "you dumb bitch" is also perpetual and overly used, which deems the main character a total bastard with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Your movie has perfect animation skills, and you have perfect voice actors too, but whoever writes your script must be the most boring mother fucker in the universe, and that's why it's such a tradgedy that this movie sucks.

It's not that bad

I'm not really a fan of stick movies, but I am a fan of WWE Wreslting!!! And I liked the creativity and the effort that was put into this movie, even it does seem a little dull on the graphical aspects.

Sonic at his best

Definetly the best movie in the series right now, but not only the best in the series, it is also the best Sonic sprite movie I've seen on Newgrounds so far. Forget the other crappy Sonic sprite movies out there that get NG frontpage, this one deserves frontpage for sure!!! Just like some of the previous episodes did!! STT, you kick arse at making battle scenes, and even though most of the sprites don't seem original they were utilized and edited extremely well.

Very Good choice of sound and music to go with the movie too, I'm sure the music will be playing back in my head for a long time ;)
Although there's one minor thing about the movie which I didn't really appreciate. The voices of some characters are a tiny bit annoying in my opinion, but it's nothing too serious, I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Lol, what the hell is up with Earthworm Jim though??? I guess an intense action movie needs a bit of humour, I'll admit that it made me chuckle slightly when I saw that damn Disco Attack by EWJ, LOL WTF????

The ending was a major cliff hanger since we'll have to find out in the next episode how Sparkster survived such a powerful blow from the Super Mecha.

Overall, this movie kicked arse twice as much as the others did, can't wait for Ep.5!! Awesome work STT!! :D

[Sonic Vs. Mario - Part 4]

20 minute, B-Movies

After watching all four movies at once, I'm wondering why the hell I even bothered. I knew the first movie was kinda crap, so I kept going to the next to see if one of these movies was actually worth seeing, and unfortunatly...... none of them were. The story and the whole plot got screwed up. I didn't mind the plot too much in the first movie since some funny movies need to be slightly crazy to grab attention, but carrying on the random craziness with demons and other shit in a few more movies just screws it up.

I don't care if you make Mario vs Sonic movies even if they are very cliched, because they can still be fun to watch PROVIDING they have something original in them that distinguishes it from the other Mario vs Sonic movies. You should consider spending more time on movies instead of just bringing out one quick-finish, Bmovie after the other. The graphics and sprites you used were reasonably good in some areas, which brings more shame to this movie.

Maybe if you used graphics that didn't take up so much memory then I probably would've voted a bit higher, because waiting a long time for a short, and sad to say a crappy movie just isn't the way to go. Obviously a lot of people are pretty weird to give these four movies high scores.
